This First Thursday Fotoeffect Studio & Gallery is showcasing the installation "Dwelling" by Michelle Daly. Featuring 420 hand sewn paint chips the piece is a meditation on the value of home in American Culture. Each piece is composed of sewn interlocking circles which evoke the idea of nesting and the process of making a house a home. As a group these pieces explore the idea of the individual within the group and the visual power of multiples. Paired with Vilem's ongoing show of photo-transfers, it is an event not to miss!
Opening in conjunction with First Thursday in the Pearl the show will be up from 4/5/12 through 5/20/12.
