Equinox Studios Annual Very Open House - 12/14/24
It’s time for the best art block party of the year! We are opening our doors and decking out Equinox Studios and it’s streets in our famous blue lights! Art Studios are officially open Dec 14th from 3:00-9:00pm but if we’re honest, it doesn’t stop until they kick us out. Family and Pet Friendly!
If this is your first visit, Equinox has over 150 resident artists and artisans in four converted warehouses spanning the full city block. We host Painting, photography, wood working, metallurgy, sculpture, glass blowing, and a lot of other weird stuff that you won’t see anywhere else. We also have live music (including our favorite funky-weird marching band, Chaotic Noise), food trucks, beer gardens, fire spinners, black and white Christmas movies, Poets…we could keep going. This year they are also bringing out the “Mighty Schmackamer” which involves allowing the public to hit things with sledgehammers to make art with a 7 ton metal punch. It’s pretty much shenanigans galore.
